Delhi all set to welcome Bharat Jodo Yatra on December 24
Led by former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, the foot march will be received by state Congress leaders and workers. The Yatra will have a sojourn in the National Capital till 3 January.
The Congress party in Delhi claimed to have received encouraging support from the local people in the road shows and rallies apart from the personal interactions.
Congress Party star campaigner Nagma on Friday undertook the hectic canvassing for the party candidates in the various wards for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections slated for Sunday along with Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Chaudhary Anil Kumar and other senior leaders.
During the campaign the Delhi Congress claimed to have received overwhelming support from the local people in their open meetings, road shows, rallies and personal interactions.
Chaudhary said the Congress is the only alternative for good governance, as the people of Delhi have been cheated by the misrule and non-performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the last couple of years.

Chaudhary Anil Kumar and Nagma appealed to the voters to support and elect the Congress candidates saying that the Congress only would fulfill its promises to uplift the National Capital on all fronts.
He was confident of winning the polls saying that the party was on a strong position and a Congress Mayor take over the MCD on December 7.
